David Hunt

Commercial Manager

David has been working in Oxford on and off since 2006 in a variety of hospitality and leisure venues. As part of his role, David oversees the management of the beautiful Oxford Town Hall with the support of a fantastic team to make every event a success.

When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and their many pets and being in the outdoors exploring new places.

Charlie

Charlie Clements

Sales & Marketing Manager

Charlie joined the team in August 2023, having had extensive experience managing multiple leisure facilities across Oxford. Charlie manages the Town Hall Events team as well as managing the Marketing for all commercial spaces within Oxford Town Hall.

In her spare time, Charlie plays Ice Hockey for the Oxford Midnight Stars and exploring new countries around the world.

Sue Varney 

Sales and Events Team Supervisor 

Sue is the Sales and Events Team Supervisor at Oxford Town Hall. She has worked at the Town Hall for 20 years and loves her jobShe loves to see the look of wonder on customers faces when they come into the venue for the first time and experience the Victorian grandeur of the building, and enjoy helping to make their dream event become a reality along with our friendly and professional team.  

When not working Sue enjoys long countryside walks, line dancing and weekends away.

Rebecca 

Sales Executive 

Rebecca joined the events team in 2017, having had a wealth of experience previously within hospitality management, event coordination and operations. Rebecca manages the sales at the Town Hall and is the person to speak to if you are thinking of holding an event and would like more information, or to view the venue.  

She absolutely loves events of all kinds, festivals, food and travelling. When not at work Rebecca enjoys wellness activities, eating out at local restaurants or spending time with friends and family.

Marissa 

Events Coordinator

Marissa joined the team in 2021 and she has 7 years experience in Retail Sales and Hospitality Management. Marissa works alongside the Sales and Events team, taking care of the coordination process for each event at Oxford Town Hall.

When she’s away from her desk, Marissa loves spending her weekends with close friends. She enjoys exploring the outside and traveling to new places. She is creative and loves anything with Art in it. Marissa loves creating resin jewellery which include pressed wild flowers.

Mariana 

Events Finance Officer 

Mariana has been involved in the Events Industry for several years, due to her background in Music and Arts Management.

She is responsible for organising the financial processes relating to bookings at the Town Hall.

Outside work, she loves travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Isobel

Sales & Events Assistant

Isobel joined the events team in June 2023 coming from a background of working in retail. Isobel assists the team with sales enquiries, getting creative on social media and marketing.

In her spare time, Isobel enjoys listening to music, spending time with her cat, Lenny and cooking up a storm.

The Operations Team  

On the day of the events, our excellent operations team will be on site to ensure the venue is clean and operated to a high standard to ensure your event is a success. The team is lead by Paul (Operations Manager), his team of Town Hall Keepers; Vicky, Daiva Ben & Edward, and supported by their team of Facility Assistants.  

They all look forward to meeting you on the day.
