David has been working in Oxford on and off since 2006 in a variety of hospitality and leisure venues. As part of his role, David oversees the management of the beautiful Oxford Town Hall with the support of a fantastic team to make every event a success.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and their many pets and being in the outdoors exploring new places.
Sales, Events & Marketing Manager
Cath joined the team in 2019, coming from a background in the heritage and tourism industries.
Cath is responsible for the management of the sales and events team, who work together to ensure the commercial activities at the Town Hall are a success. She also is responsible for developing and implementing all marketing activities to promote Oxford Town Hall, ensuring it continues to be a vibrant and diverse venue.
When she’s not at work, Cath loves spending time in outdoors exploring the countryside, and looking after (or spoiling) her two rabbits, Merry and Pippin.
Sales and Events Team Supervisor
Sue is the Sales and Events Team Supervisor at Oxford Town Hall. She has worked at the Town Hall for 20 years and loves her job. She loves to see the look of wonder on customers faces when they come into the venue for the first time and experience the Victorian grandeur of the building, and enjoy helping to make their dream event become a reality along with our friendly and professional team.
When not working Sue enjoys long countryside walks, line dancing and weekends away.
Rebecca joined the events team in 2017, having had a wealth of experience previously within hospitality management, event coordination and operations. Rebecca manages the sales at the Town Hall and is the person to speak to if you are thinking of holding an event and would like more information, or to view the venue.
She absolutely loves events of all kinds, festivals, food and planning fun places to go. When not at work you can often find her eating out in Oxford or by the river, possibly on her dinghy, listening to music and picnicking.
Marissa joined the team in 2021 and she has 7 years experience in Retail Sales and Hospitality Management. Marissa works alongside the Sales and Events team, taking care of the coordination process for each event at Oxford Town Hall.
When she’s away from her desk, Marissa loves spending her weekends with close friends. She enjoys exploring the outside and traveling to new places. She is creative and loves anything with Art in it. Marissa loves creating resin jewellery which include pressed wild flowers.
Events Finance Officer
Mariana has been involved in the Events Industry for several years, due to her background in Music and Arts Management.
She is responsible for organising the financial processes relating to bookings at the Town Hall.
Outside work, she loves travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
Sales, Events & Marketing Assistant
Emily joined the Oxford Town Hall team after 8 years in hospitality. They’re currently working part-time while they finish up their Master’s dissertation.
As Sales, Event and Marketing Assistant, they support the team with a little bit of everything! From digital content management and social media marketing, to clearing out old files and dealing with internal bookings.
When not in work, Emily enjoys trying to get through their never-ending ‘to-be-read’ pile, and travelling to new and familiar places.
The Operations Team
On the day of the events, our excellent operations team will be on site to ensure the venue is clean and operated to a high standard to ensure your event is a success. The team is lead by Paul (Operations Manager), his team of Town Hall Keepers; Vicky, Daiva Ben & Edward, and supported by their team of Facility Assistants.
