Christmas party function room hire in Oxford
In total we have 10 rooms for event hire in central Oxford. Our rooms offer a combination of layouts and are all competitively priced. When you walk into Oxford Town Hall for your Christmas Party the lobby will invite your guests in with warm lighting on our impressive staircase. You can leave your coat in the cloakroom in the St Aldate’s Room. You will be welcomed with a drink, and when you can mingle with friends and colleagues in the Assembly Room. When dinner is ready, guests will take their seats in the Main Hall and be blown away with the décor in the room. With delicious food, a night of dancing and laughing your guests will be talking about this party for a long time.
The Main Hall
The Main Hall is our largest function room and it’s where our fantastic Christmas parties take place. Join us here for an impressive Christmas party. It is fully decorated for the event and certainly spreads Christmas cheer and spirit in the run up to the big day. With a vast domed ceiling, balconies and an expansive stage, it is a truly fantastic venue for a Christmas party. This impressive function room accommodates over 200 guests for dining with a large dance floor and upto 500 standing. The large stage also provides the perfect space for bands and entertainment. The Old Library
The wonderful Old Library can accommodate 80 people seated and up to 120 standing, ideal for a Christmas drinks reception or a Christmas lunch or dinner in the centre of Oxford.
The Assembly Room
The wood panelled Assembly Room with its vast fireplace and huge paintings is naturally a festive room with plenty of atmosphere. The Assembly Room can accommodate 120 people dining or up to 200 people standing.
St Aldate’s Room
The St Aldate’s Room a pleasant and welcoming space that’s perfect for smaller Christmas functions or as a cloakroom for larger parties, seating a maximum of 30 people or accommodating up to 40 standing.
Catering for your Christmas party in Oxford is done through our sole caterer, Elegant Cuisine. They provide you with the perfect festive menus using locally sourced produce. Guests can liaise with Elegant Cuisine caterer to create menus and packages suitable for your needs and budget, whether a 3-course menu or an informal, relaxed buffet.
