🏛 Oxford Town Hall Façade Clean & Stone Repairs – Essential Maintenance
We’re excited to share that from 11th August 2025 through to February 2026, Oxford Town Hall will undergo essential façade cleaning and stone restoration works. This important project is part of our continued commitment to preserving the historic beauty and integrity of this landmark building.
To safely complete the works, scaffolding will be in place from the High Street, down St Aldates, and along Blue Boar Street, this will be completed in 5 phases. While this may slightly alter the building’s exterior appearance during the project, access to the Town Hall will be maintained, and we’ll continue to welcome visitors and event guests as usual.
These careful cleaning and restoration efforts will:
· Protect and preserve the iconic stonework for years to come
· Brighten and refresh the building’s appearance
· Ensure the Town Hall continues to be a proud feature of Oxford’s historic cityscape
