Organ Recitals

Oxford Town Hall welcomes you to listen and enjoy our world famous Father Willis organ played by the city's finest organists. Tickets are £4 and come with complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Performances take place from 12pm-1pm on the following Wednesdays:

20 September - Greg Wheele and Gabriele Damiani, 22 November - Francis Rumsey.

Tea Dances

Tea and Cake and Dancing take place on the following Wednesday, 2pm to 4.30pm:

13 and 20 September, 4 and 11 October, 8 and 22 November, 13 December - Christmas Dance.

Zumba

Prepare yourself to party. You will shake your hips, shimmy and smile the hour away. Up to 1000 calories will be burnt in just one class. The moves are simple and you will love the music. No stress, no worry, just fun. There are no wrong moves so just come and join the party.

Zumba classes are held  on Mondays (except Bank Holidays) from 12.10pm to 12.55pm, for £3 per person. To check whether the session is on and for more information contact Vicki Galvin, GO Active Coordinator on 01865 252720 or vgalvin@oxford.gov.uk.

Zumba resumes on 11 September and will not be taking place on 2 October.

Meditation Class - Diamond Way Buddhism UK

Oxford Buddhist Group meets every Tuesday at 8pm in the Judge's Room for a guided meditation on the 16th Karmapa. These meditation classes are suitable for all who wish to learn to meditate.

For newcomers there is always a short introduction to Buddhism and brief explanations on how to meditate.

They regularly hold courses on Buddhism and Buddhist meditation classes, guided by experienced practitioners and travelling teachers appointed by Lama Ole Nydahl. All weekly guided meditation classes are free of charge.
