Oxford Student Opera Society presents: Giacomo Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi
- Two performances: Thursday 20th and Friday 21st February 2025 (Tickets sold separately)
- Doors open at 7:15pm
- Curtains at 8pm
This 1917 comedic opera is based on Dante’s Divine Comedy, and written to a libretto by Giovacchino Forzano. While lesser-known, this opera includes renowned arias, including ‘O mio babbino caro’. In line with our previous productions, we will present the entire uncut opera fully staged with live orchestra and fresh interpretation.

When? 20/02/25 and 21/02/25

The Town Hall bar will be open from 7:15pm if you would like to get yourself a pre-show drink!
